Relentless Roller Derby (RRD) is committed to keeping our organization a safe and inclusive space. In attending any RRD hosted event, all parties are taking on responsibility for upholding the values at the heart of what we do: safety, community care, transparency, and trust. This applies to our members and to all visitors in our home (fans, officials, volunteers, and teams.) If something doesn’t feel right, please speak up if you feel able to do so. Otherwise, please let an RRD staff member or volunteer know as soon as you feel comfortable doing so, or ask a person you trust to do so on your behalf.
For the safety and security of all, we commit to keeping our events and our online spaces free from:
Any form of discrimination, harassment, racism, body shaming or LGBTQIA+phobia.
Abusive/obscene language or gestures directed at any human.
Politically oppressive imagery displayed on clothing or signage.
Physical assault of any kind.
Sexual misconduct of any kind.
Violations of personal boundaries and/or privacy.
Unwanted or invasive photography or video recording.
Interference with the progress of any games, including use of disruptive sound or visual devices or unauthorized presence on the track or in team areas.
Additionally:
RRD will do its part to maintain accessibility in all of its spaces, with accommodations and ADA seating made readily available. Service animals are welcome at events (but please note the environment is loud and there are high-pitched whistles during gameplay.)
Anyone who does not respect these guidelines, either in our online spaces or at our events, may be removed without refund at the discretion of RRD staff.
